Manufactured with D'Addario’s exclusive NY Steel high-carbon steel core in New York, these strings deliver unmatched strength, durability, and up to 131% greater tuning stability compared to traditional nickel wound strings. The nickel-plated steel wrap wire is formulated with enhanced magnetic properties to boost mid-range frequency response (1 - 3.5 kHz), offering more presence and crunch that help the strings cut through any mix. These uncoated strings maintain a natural feel and provide the articulate, bright tone demanded by extended range and heavy playing styles.
