The K&K Pure Preamp is a compact, stage-ready preamp designed specifically to enhance the natural voice of acoustic instruments — especially when paired with K&K’s passive pickups such as the Pure Mini, Mandolin Twin, or Banjo Twin. This belt-clip unit provides professional-grade tone shaping and powerful gain control while preserving the clarity and warmth of your instrument.

With a 3-band EQ offering +/-20dB of cut/boost on bass and mids, and +/-16dB on treble, the Pure Preamp gives players flexible control over their sound. A super-wide midrange filter at 1.5 kHz ensures articulation and body without harshness. The internal gain trimmer allows you to tailor the output to match your playing style or venue — whether you're feeding into a PA, amp, or direct box.

Its clean, quiet circuitry is optimized for passive transducers and provides a transparent sound without hiss, hum, or coloration. The smart battery disconnect shuts off power when the output cable is unplugged, helping extend battery life up to 180 hours.
