Savarez

Savarez is a French string manufacturer with over 250 years of history, making them one of the oldest string makers in the world. Founded in 1770, Savarez has built a reputation among classical and flamenco guitarists for producing strings with exceptional tonal clarity, precise intonation, and remarkable consistency.

Their classical string lineup is built around two core treble materials: New Cristal nylon, which delivers a warm, traditional tone with good sustain, and Alliance carbon (fluorocarbon), which produces a brighter, more projecting sound with excellent tuning stability. These trebles are paired with various bass string options including Cantiga, Corum, and Classic wound basses, each offering a different balance of warmth, projection, and playability.

The Creation series is particularly popular, combining New Cristal nylon trebles (with an Alliance carbon 3rd string) and Cantiga basses for a versatile set that works beautifully across a wide range of repertoire. Available in normal tension, high tension, and mixed tension configurations.
