Product Overview
Aquila Sugar trebles are a transparent bio-plastic derived from sugar cane, developed in Italy. The sound is bright, clean and prompt with strong projection; Aquila's lab tests measured 18% more sound power and 24% more sustain than fluorocarbon. They keep strong vibrato and tonal range, and feel smooth without being slippery.
The basses carry a red protective varnish that cuts finger noise, prevents allergic reactions to metal and stops the oxidation common on silver-plated copper basses.
Set 155C is the normal tension Sugar set, a full set of six strings. Made in Italy by Aquila Corde Armoniche.
