Description
DR Red Devils bass strings are designed for players who want a bold visual statement and a loud, aggressive sound. Their vibrant red color comes from DR’s proprietary K3 coating, applied to every string in the set. Round core wires and silver-plated nickel-plated steel wrap wires contribute to a powerful bass voice with projection, clarity, and articulation.
The RDB-40 set is made for bass guitarists seeking a distinctive look and assertive presence in their sound. Its .40-.100 gauge suits players working across a range of bass styles, from practice and rehearsal to recording and performance. The coated construction is intended to provide longevity, fewer unwanted overtones, and a clear, projecting response.
