Description
The Gotoh GHL-2 is a premium top-mount locking nut, made in Japan, that directly replaces Floyd Rose and Floyd Rose-style locking nuts. By clamping the strings firmly at the nut, it eliminates the slippage that causes detuning during dive-bombs, flutters, and wide bends—delivering the tuning stability demanding tremolo players need on stage and in the studio.
This is the 43mm (R4) version, the most common 6-string size and the standard nut supplied with Gotoh's GE1996T double-locking tremolo. It ships as a complete kit: nut assembly, string retainer bar, top-mount screws, height-adjustment shims, and Allen wrenches. Note: Gotoh locking nuts are asymmetrical (wider slots for the bass strings); confirm your required nut width and radius before ordering, as the GHL-2 is also offered in a 48mm 7-string version.
