Description
The Gotoh RG15/RG30 is a set of two barrel-style string retainers (string trees), made in Japan, for straight or flat headstocks that need extra downward string angle over the nut. It pairs a short RG15 (2.5mm spacer) with a taller RG30 (5mm spacer), so you can dial in the right staggered break angle across the string pairs—improving tuning stability and reducing buzz on Fender-style necks.
Each smooth barrel-steel retainer holds down two strings with minimal friction, at 7mm (9/32") string spacing with a 4.5mm barrel diameter. The set includes brass spacers and mounting screws. Choose your finish from the available color options. Note: a small pilot hole (about 2mm) is recommended before installing the screws.
