Description:
The Gotoh SD91-05M Aged is a faithful reproduction of the Kluson-style tuners of the '40s and '50s, finished with Gotoh's factory relic treatment for an authentically worn look straight out of the box. Gotoh ages the parts before assembly, so the patina is genuine rather than a coating that rubs off. A modern 15:1 gear ratio gives finer control than the vintage originals, while slotted posts let you insert the string end before winding — true period practice — and Japanese manufacturing brings smooth, stable, no-slip tuning.
Supplied as a 6-in-line (L6) set in aged nickel, the SD91-05M suits relic and vintage-spec Strat, Tele and similar flat headstocks where matched worn hardware completes the build. Requires vintage-sized 11/32" (8.8mm) pegholes, or use conversion bushings (sold separately) to fit modern 10mm holes. Bushings and mounting screws included.
