Description:
The Gotoh SG381 MG-T adds Gotoh's Magnum Lock-Trad system to the trusted SG381 platform — a rear-mounted thumbwheel that clamps the string internally for fast changes and rock-steady tuning. Built around a 16:1 gear ratio and a permanently sealed, self-lubricating die-cast housing, it delivers the smooth, backlash-free feel Gotoh is known for, with locking stability that rivals Schaller, Grover and Hipshot at a lower price.
Supplied as a 3-a-side set with EN01 ebony wood buttons and a gold finish, the SG381-EN01 MG-T fits 3x3 headstocks with the screw holes offset at 45° — the common pattern on Ibanez, Schecter, ESP, Jackson and PRS SE guitars. The warm wood buttons are a natural pairing for figured-top and boutique builds. Accepts string up to 1.8mm (.070"). 10mm bore, 20mm post. Mounting screws and hexagonal banjo bolts included. Measure your existing bore before ordering.
