Description
The Gotoh SGV510Z-MG-T is the locking version of Gotoh's "6-o'clock" 510, made in Japan. It pairs the vintage-correct straight-down post orientation with the MG-T (Magnum Lock-Trad) system—a knurled thumbwheel on the rear of each tuner that clamps the string in place for faster restrings, fewer string breaks, and excellent tuning stability—all backed by the series' highest standard 21:1 gear ratio and a die-cast, permanently sealed and lubricated housing.
This set is configured 3Lx3R with L5 "butter bean" buttons in gold (GG). As with all locking tuners, the posts run about 2–3mm shorter than the standard version for proper downward nut pressure—ideal for upgrading classic-style instruments where you want locking convenience without losing the vintage look.
