Description:
The Gruv Gear FretWraps String Dampener helps reduce unwanted overtones, sympathetic ringing, and extra string noise during recording, tapping, high-gain playing, practice, or live performance. Simply slide it over the strings, adjust the pressure, and play cleaner takes. When you need full open strings, move it behind the nut in seconds. No tools or instrument modifications are needed, providing a quick and effective way to tighten up your sound without hassle.
Perfect for studio players and guitarists or bassists who want clean, noise-free articulation, this large-size FretWrap fits 6-string basses and many 7- and 8-string guitars. The adjustable pressure lets you dial in exactly how much dampening you want, so your intended notes ring clear while stray vibrations stay under control. It is an essential tool for maintaining professional clarity during technical passages or high-gain sessions.
