Description:
The Gruv Gear FretWraps Flare in Orange (part number FW-1PK-ORG-MD) is a professional string dampener designed to clean up your sound by eliminating unwanted string noise. Whether you are recording in the studio, tapping, playing with high gain, or practicing technical passages, these wraps help reduce the overtones and sympathetic ringing that can clutter a performance. They are an essential tool for players seeking tighter technique and clearer note definition without the need for permanent modifications.
Using the FretWrap is simple: just slide the dampener over the strings and adjust the pressure to your preference. When you need your strings to ring fully open again, the unit slides easily behind the nut of the instrument. This Medium size is specifically tailored for 5-string basses, classical guitars, and various extended-range guitars, providing a versatile solution for studio players and live performers who demand cleaner takes and more professional audio results.
