Description:
The Gruv Gear FretWraps String Dampener is a professional tool designed to clean up your sound by reducing unwanted overtones, sympathetic ringing, and string noise. Whether you are recording in the studio, tapping, playing with high gain, or simply trying to tighten up your technique, these wraps help keep extra vibrations under control. One small open-string ring can make a clean take sound messy, especially during fast technical passages, and this dampener ensures the notes you actually want to hear come through more clearly.
This simple and effective accessory is perfect for studio players who want cleaner takes and guitarists or bassists who need more control over their instrument. You can easily slide it over the strings, adjust the pressure to your preference, and play. When you want your strings fully open again, just move the wrap behind the nut without any hassle. There are no tools or modifications needed to your instrument, making it a versatile addition to your gear for practice or live performances.
