Description:
The Hosco SCUD PUSH-500A is a professional grade push-pull potentiometer that integrates a 500K audio taper pot with a DPDT switch. This component allows for the switching of internal circuits without the need for additional holes in the guitar body. The DPDT switch features six lugs for versatile wiring configurations. When pushed down, the selector interacts with the bottom four lugs, connecting B to C and E to F. When pulled up, the switch interacts with the top four lugs, connecting B to A and E to D. The B and E terminals remain connected in both positions to facilitate consistent signal paths.
Designed for durability and precision, this Hosco unit features a metric shaft to fit metric sized knobs and includes all necessary mounting hardware, consisting of one nut and one washer. The audio taper (A type) provides a natural response across the sweep, making it suitable for both volume and tone applications in guitar electronics.
