Description:
The Ibanez IACS6C acoustic guitar strings utilize an 80/20 bronze wrap wire to produce a bright and projecting acoustic voice. This specific alloy is preferred by many players for its clarity and crisp high-end response. This light gauge set includes individual strings measured at .012, .016, .024, .032, .042, and .053. These gauges offer a comfortable tension for standard tuning, balancing playability with enough mass to drive the soundboard of a full-sized acoustic guitar effectively.
These strings feature a specialized coating designed to resist the accumulation of dirt and moisture that typically leads to corrosion. By protecting the wrap wire, the coating helps maintain the original tonal character and feel of the strings for a longer duration compared to uncoated alternatives. Whether used for practice or performance, this Ibanez 80/20 bronze set provides a consistent and durable solution for guitarists seeking a standard light gauge feel with enhanced longevity.
