Description:
The Ibanez IEBS4C is a specialized 4-string bass set designed with a light top and medium bottom configuration. This specific arrangement provides bassists with a flexible, comfortable feel on the higher strings for lead lines while maintaining a firm, solid low end for heavy rhythm sections. The nickel wound construction produces a classic, warm tone with clear articulation that is well suited for various genres including rock and funk.
These strings feature a coated finish to help protect the alloy from moisture and debris during play. With gauges ranging from .045 to .105, the IEBS4C set offers balanced tension across the fretboard. This set is engineered to accommodate instruments with scale lengths up to 35-inch (88.9cm), making them a versatile choice for both standard and long scale basses.
