The GM-1 is an ultra-compact earphone-type metronome that fits on one ear, allowing multiple users to synchronize tempos for group practice such as marching bands or dance teams. It uses infrared communication to connect multiple GM-1 devices so that everyone hears the same tempo in sync, even when separated.

The canal-type earpiece fits comfortably and securely, making the metronome sound easy to hear while preventing sound from spilling out, ideal for quiet environments. The device supports a wide variety of beats and rhythm variations, including odd meters, and features a jog switch for intuitive tempo setting.
