The Pickboy BP-150HN is a set of acoustic guitar bridge pins carved from buffalo horn, each topped with a mother-of-pearl inlay. The pins are made in India and packaged in Japan, measuring about 5mm across at the base, and are built to upgrade the plastic pins fitted as standard on most factory acoustics.
Horn sits in the middle of Pickboy's bridge pin material range for hardness, giving a well-balanced tone rather than pushing toward a brighter or darker extreme, and as a natural material each pin's color varies slightly. Bridge pins affect tone as well as holding the strings in place, so swapping them is a simple way to change how an acoustic responds.
