Description:
The Pickboy Edge is a small, sharp-tipped teardrop pick made in Japan in a choice of three materials: carbon nylon, which combines carbon's hardness with nylon's flexibility; clear polycarbonate, a lightweight, scrape-resistant material also used in riot shields and aircraft parts; and Ultem (PEI), a hard-wearing plastic with a feel similar to tortoiseshell.
The pointed tip is built for a clear, defined attack on single notes and solos, while remaining usable for chord strumming and backing. Each material trades off differently between hardness and flex, so the same small shape can be tuned to a harder or softer feel. Sold individually; choose your material and gauge above.
