Description:
The Rico Plasticover Bb clarinet reed offers a brilliant, projecting tone that enables a unique voice across various musical styles, from funk to Latin jazz. The specialized black plastic coating protects the cane while maintaining its natural responsiveness, making these reeds a versatile choice for clarinetists seeking a consistent sound in any environment. The coating provides a layer of protection that resists moisture and temperature fluctuations, ensuring that the reed remains stable even when moved between different playing climates.
Noted for its exceptional durability, the Plasticover is an ideal solution for outdoor performances and withstands extreme weather conditions that often warp traditional cane. This coating also facilitates quick instrument changes without compromising playability, as the reed does not require the same degree of wetting as uncoated models. Each pack contains five reeds at strength 2.0, providing a reliable and long-lasting supply for your practice sessions or live performances.
