R. Cocco is an Italian string brand known as a pioneer of handmade strings. While most of the industry has moved to mass production, R. Cocco still winds its strings by hand on traditional string-making machines, using only selected materials.
The RC5CWNX is the extra-long-scale version of the 5-string RC5CWN set, gauged 45-130, with an effective string length of about 35 in (889 mm) for basses whose scale is too long for a standard 34 in set. Expect rich low mids, a solid low end, long sustain and a clear attack that responds to fingers or a pick.
