This Rico by D'Addario single trial reed offers a convenient way to test a specific strength or cut before committing to a full retail box. These reeds are removed from factory 10-packs and sold individually without retail packaging, making them an affordable option for students and educators. The unfiled cut and traditional blank are engineered to make those first notes feel easy and rewarding, helping beginners produce a clear and confident sound even while they are still developing proper embouchure and breath support. Rico reeds are built with a profile that ensures a quick response, keeping students encouraged as they progress.
Choosing the right reed strength is essential for any woodwind player, and these unboxed singles allow you to experiment with 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, or 3.5 strengths to find your ideal match. By providing an accessible way to experience the classic Rico tone, these reeds help ensure that players have the tools they need to stay motivated. Whether you are a beginner looking for an easy-blowing reed or a teacher stocking up on various strengths for a classroom, these individual Bb clarinet reeds provide the consistent quality and performance that D'Addario is known for across their entire woodwind range.
