Description
The Snark ST-8 HPT is the flagship of Snark's new High Precision Tuner family, taking the ultra-popular ST-8 platform to a new level of accuracy for professional and studio use. HPT models feature all-new software with a much tighter "in tune window" than any previous Snark, paired with a patented anechoic sound shield on the back of the tuner that blocks room noise from behind the vibration sensor. The two work together to deliver faster, more precise tuning in any environment — from a noisy stage to a busy backstage warm-up room.
The 11-needle display makes fine pitch adjustment easy to read at a glance, and the super-bright LCD stays legible in bright sunlight and on dark stages alike. Adjustable pitch calibration covers guitar, bass, ukulele, violin family, and brass and woodwind instruments through the vibration sensor and a broad frequency range. Fully rechargeable via the included USB cable and adapter — no more batteries to buy or swap — and the prominent battery gauge on-screen lets you plan your charging around gigs and sessions.
