Description:
The Timber Tones Bone Tones Guitar Pick in Black Horn is crafted to provide a warm, rounded tone that closely mirrors the legendary sound of vintage tortoiseshell. These picks are manufactured from Vietnamese Water Buffalo Horn, a natural keratin-based material sourced as a byproduct of the food and leather industries. While softer than bone, the horn material remains highly durable and offers a more mellow, organic voice for your instrument. Each pick is unique, displaying natural variations in grain and color inherent to the organic material.
Designed around the classic 351 shape, this pick measures 30.3mm (1.19in) long and 25.7mm (1.01in) wide. It features a substantial 2.5mm thickness at the grip for comfort and control, which is chamfered down to a 0.7mm tip for precise string attack. This specific taper makes it an excellent choice for acoustic and electric guitar players, as well as those specializing in gypsy jazz or archtop jazz styles where tonal depth and nuance are essential.
