Description:
Black Diamond NJH1151S Jimi Hendrix Monterey Pop strings provide a light playing tension for acoustic guitars. These strings are manufactured by pulling high-carbon steel core wire to optimum tension before winding it with high-grade silver-plated wrap wire. This specific ratio of core to wrap wire, managed by pitch and tension controllers, is designed to produce a precise and exquisite sound every time the instrument is played. The light gauges of .011, .014, .025, .031, .040, and .051 offer a classic feel for acoustic players.
This signature series supports the legacy of the James Marshall Hendrix Foundation. Established in 1988 by Al Hendrix, the foundation works to improve the quality of life for children and the world community. By choosing these strings, you participate in a mission to inspire and encourage creativity in music, arts, and sciences. Each set reflects the spirit of Peace, Love, and Music that Jimi Hendrix gave to the world through his artistic contributions.
