Type-2 uses a thicker wire and larger outer diameter to gently boost the high-mid range while keeping the response flexible. The slightly higher tension works well as a full set of 4–5 springs, or combined with Type-1 and standard springs to fine-tune tremolo feel, pitch return, and tonal balance.
