Description
The Gotoh CC-01B is Gotoh's original "Capotasto," a crescent-type capo for acoustic and electric guitars, made in Japan. Unlike common spring-clamp capos that need a strong squeeze, its specially processed C-shape (crescent) spring installs with minimal effort while still holding firmly—and gives a clear on/off feel so you always know it's seated properly for clean, buzz-free notes.
Built to last, it's tested well beyond 10,000 on/off cycles without the spring weakening. The slim black design sits low with no awkward protrusions to catch your hand, and at around 40g it's light and easy to move up the neck. A simple, reliable everyday capo. Note: as with any capo, fit can vary with neck width and radius—confirm suitability for unusually wide or flat necks.
