Description:
The Gotoh SD91-P5W is a faithful reproduction of the Kluson-style tuners of the '40s and '50s, updated with a modern 15:1 gear ratio for finer control than the vintage originals. Slotted posts let you insert the string end before winding — true period practice — while pearloid oval buttons add a touch of vintage flair. Gotoh's Japanese manufacturing brings smooth, stable, no-slip tuning that vintage hardware never reliably delivered, with adjacent tuners sharing a common mounting screw for the classic in-line strip look. Supplied as a 6-in-line (L6) set in nickel, it suits vintage-spec Strat, Tele and similar flat headstocks. Requires vintage-sized 11/32" (8.8mm) pegholes, or use conversion bushings (sold separately) to fit modern 10mm holes. Bushings and mounting screws included.
