The Graph Tech NuBone 6116 is a 6-string slotted nut that fits Taylor, Gibson and Yamaha style acoustic guitars with a 1-11/16" nut.
NuBone is Graph Tech's budget option: a derivative of TUSQ made for budget-conscious repairs, and a tone-enhancing alternative to plastic. It is formed under high heat and pressure, and files and sands easily.
NuBone version of Graph Tech model 6116, the same shape as the TUSQ PQ-6116-00. Fits Taylor GS Mini, T3, T5, 100 and 200 Series, and Larrivee D-style guitars.
Please note: this is a single part taken out of a Graph Tech pack of 10, so it ships without retail packaging.
Choosing the right nut: match it by length, then thickness, then string spacing (center of the low E slot to center of the high E slot). A little longer or thicker than your old nut is fine, as Graph Tech leaves a little extra so it can be sanded to a flush, snug fit.
