The Graph Tech NuBone M600 is a replacement nut for Martin-style acoustic guitars and other guitars that need an angled nut; it has an angled bottom.
NuBone is Graph Tech's budget option: a derivative of TUSQ made for budget-conscious repairs, and a tone-enhancing alternative to plastic. It is formed under high heat and pressure, and files and sands easily.
NuBone version of Graph Tech model M600, the same shape as the TUSQ PQ-M600-00. Fits Martin D-18, D-28, D-42, D-45 and similar guitars.
Please note: this is a single part taken out of a Graph Tech pack of 10, so it ships without retail packaging.
Choosing the right nut: match it by length, then thickness, then string spacing (center of the low E slot to center of the high E slot). A little longer or thicker than your old nut is fine, as Graph Tech leaves a little extra so it can be sanded to a flush, snug fit.
