Product Overview
The Graph Tech TUSQ 9125 is a 1/8" thick saddle blank to custom-shape your own saddle, with much of the work already done.
TUSQ is Graph Tech's man-made ivory. Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots in the grain that hamper the even transfer of vibration to the guitar; TUSQ is consistent from piece to piece, so the right frequencies pass more efficiently from the string to the body. Graph Tech made TUSQ for high-end acoustic guitars and says it gives up to 200 percent more harmonic content and richness than bone.
A saddle slab is a rectangular blank for shaping your own saddle: cut it to length, sand it to fit the slot, then shape the top and set the height.
