Description:
The Gruv Gear FretWrap string dampener is an essential tool for guitarists and bassists looking to eliminate unwanted overtones and sympathetic ringing. Whether you are recording in the studio, practicing technical tapping passages, or playing with high gain, this accessory helps reduce stray string noise that can clutter your sound. It provides a simple way to achieve cleaner takes and professional results without changing your instrument's hardware. The adjustable strap allows you to fine-tune the pressure against the strings to suit your specific playing style and technique.
Using the FretWrap is straightforward and requires no tools or modifications to your guitar or bass. Simply slide it over the strings to dampen vibration, or move it behind the nut when you want to return to full open-string resonance. This Small size is specifically designed to fit most standard 6-string electric and acoustic guitars, as well as 4-string basses. It is a highly effective solution for studio players and live performers who demand clear, controlled audio during fast passages and high-output performances.
