Description:
The Gruv Gear FretWraps String Dampener in Leaf Green provides a professional solution for reducing unwanted overtones and sympathetic ringing. Whether you are recording in the studio, performing live, or practicing complex tapping techniques, this accessory helps you achieve cleaner takes by keeping extra string vibrations under control. It is particularly effective for high-gain playing where string noise can become a distraction. The simple design allows you to slide the wrap over the strings and adjust the pressure to your specific preference for a tighter, more focused sound.
This Small (SM) model is specifically designed to fit most 6-string guitars and 4-string basses. When you require full open-string resonance for specific passages, the FretWrap can be moved behind the nut without being removed from the instrument. It requires no tools, adhesives, or permanent modifications to your guitar or bass, making it a versatile and non-invasive addition to your setup. By dampening the strings you are not playing, it ensures that only the notes you intend to hear come through clearly.
