Description:
The Hosco SCUD FG-SQ Faceguard offers a versatile solution for protecting your instrument finish without the need for permanent adhesives. This removable pick guard film is made from a PET plastic that naturally clings to the guitar body surface. Because it utilizes a glue-free design, you can apply and remove the sheet as often as needed without leaving residue behind. The blank sheet format allows you to cut the film into any custom shape you like to fit specific pickguards or body contours. It is specifically designed to shield delicate finishes from pick scratches and general wear during play.
Maintenance for the Faceguard is simple and effective. When the film gathers dust or loses its clinging properties, you can simply wash it with water to restore its transparency and grip. Once dried, it is ready to be placed back on the instrument for continued use. The set includes a plastic storage file, ensuring that the film remains flat and protected from debris when it is not currently installed on a guitar. This durable PET construction provides a reliable barrier for musicians who want to maintain their instrument condition while retaining the original aesthetic of the guitar body.
