Description:
The Hosco SCUD sombrero knob offers a classic aesthetic for guitarists looking to maintain or upgrade their instrument's appearance. These LP-style knobs feature a distinctive profile paired with a metal plate available in gold or silver finishes. The plates are marked for either Volume or Tone, allowing for precise control identification on your guitar's layout. Designed for versatility, these knobs provide a secure fit and a vintage look that complements various electric guitar models.
Selection depends on your specific potentiometer shaft requirements. The metric option is engineered for 18-spline coarse-knurled shafts often found on Japanese-manufactured pots and Alpha components. For guitars equipped with US-made hardware, the inch version is compatible with 24-spline fine-knurled CTS-type shafts. Each knob is sold singly, ensuring you can purchase the exact quantity needed for your specific wiring configuration.
