Description:
The Hosco SCUD Speed Knob provides a reliable replacement or upgrade for guitarists seeking the classic LP or Gibson-style aesthetic. These knobs are crafted from durable acrylic and are available in Amber, Black, or Gold finishes to match various instrument styles. Each knob is sold singly, allowing for precise customization of your instrument's control layout. The SK models specifically include embossed numbers for easier reference during play.
To ensure a proper fit, these knobs are offered in two distinct shaft configurations. The Metric size is designed for 18-spline coarse-knurled shafts typically found on Alpha and Japanese-manufactured potentiometers. The Inch size is compatible with 24-spline fine-knurled shafts common on US CTS-type potentiometers. Selecting the correct spline count ensures the knob remains secure on the pot shaft without slipping or causing damage to the components.
