Description:
These Ibanez IEGS7 strings are a super light 7-string set ideal for players using extended-range instruments. The lighter gauges facilitate easier bending and fretting across the fingerboard, while the nickel wound wrap wire delivers a warm, focused tone that provides clarity for various musical styles including rock and metal. This set offers a reliable solution for guitarists seeking the signature Ibanez feel and response on their seven-string electric guitars.
The IEGS7 features a nickel wound construction with a specific gauge range of .009, .011, .016, .024, .032, .042, and .054. This combination is engineered to provide a balanced tension and feel across all seven strings, from the high E string down to the low B string. These high-quality materials ensure that the strings maintain their intonation and tonal character over time, making them a dependable choice for both practice sessions and live performances.
