Description:
The Ibanez IEGS8 string set delivers a super light feel and clear, articulate tone ideal for 8-string players who require easy bending and fast playability across a wide fretboard. The nickel wound alloy provides a smooth, balanced response across all strings, making them suitable for a variety of musical genres. This specific gauge set ranging from .009 to .065 offers lower tension for comfortable fretting while maintaining output on the lower strings of the instrument.
Precisely gauged for consistent performance, these strings feature a total length suitable for standard electric guitar scales. The set includes gauges .009, .011, .016, .024, .032, .042, .054 and .065 (inches). Whether practicing at home or performing on stage, these nickel wound strings provide the flexibility and reliability required for modern extended range guitar performance.
