Description:
The Meinl Percussion Kenari Rod Shaker, model SKH, is a sound effect instrument made with kenari seed nutshells attached to a rod. This combination creates a unique, versatile instrument with a powerful, crisp sound. The rod is easy to hold and play, and the shaker weighs 90g (3.1oz).
In louder acoustic sessions, its powerful, crisp sound can prevail when a shaker needs to come through clearly. The rod provides a comfortable way to hold and play the instrument. The SKH is suited to acoustic settings where a more prominent shaker sound is useful.
