Description:
The Meinl Percussion Pala Shaker, Large (SPRL), is made from Pala seed nutshells attached to a comfortable wrist strap. The nutshells create a unique, versatile instrument with a pleasant, smooth sound. This large model weighs 168g (5.9oz) and combines the Pala seed nutshells and strap in a wrist-worn shaker.
Its sound is rather quiet and soft, making it suited to ambient and other low-volume settings. The smooth sound gives the Pala Shaker a place in settings where a softer shaker is appropriate. The Pala seed nutshells are the instrument's material, and the attached wrist strap provides a comfortable way to use it.
