Pickboy's thumb pick is worn over the thumb for fingerstyle playing, made in Japan in either celluloid or Ultem (PEI). Celluloid gives a warm, natural attack in ivory, black, rainbow or tortoiseshell (size M) or white (size XL), while Ultem is a very hard-wearing plastic with a feel close to a fingernail, offered in size M or L.
Wearing a thumb pick lets you drive the bass strings with your thumb while your fingers pick the treble strings, suiting fingerstyle players who want a clearer, more powerful low end.
