Description
The Snark SN-1X HPT brings High Precision Tuner accuracy to Snark's most iconic guitar-and-bass clip-on. Built on the world-famous SN-1X form factor, the HPT version upgrades the internals with a faster processing chip, refined software that creates an ultra-tight in-tune window, and a patented anechoic sound shield on the back of the tuner that blocks ambient noise from behind the vibration sensor. Together these upgrades deliver a new standard of accuracy — faster and more precise tuning in any environment, from a noisy stage to a busy backstage warm-up room.
Purpose-tuned for guitar and bass (with the vibration sensor also handling band and orchestra instruments cleanly), the SN-1X HPT calibrates to A440Hz by default with toggle-through options for alternate references. Fully rechargeable via the included USB cable — no more CR2032 batteries to buy or swap — and the super-bright LCD keeps the meter easy to read at any angle. Snark's most popular tuner platform, now with the tightest tuning accuracy the company has ever offered.
Note: Snark advises against clipping the tuner directly to instruments with delicate finishes (nitrocellulose lacquer, polyurethane, French polish, or oil finishes) — clip to a strap button or music stand instead if in doubt.
