Description:
The Timber Tones Star Tones Clear Horn guitar pick is designed for players who require a large, durable plectrum for aggressive playing styles. Measuring 5.0mm in thickness, this pick is specifically recommended for bass guitar and gypsy jazz where a heavy gauge is essential. The material is crafted from clear horn, a keratin-based natural substance that provides a warm, rounded tone similar to traditional tortoiseshell. This dense organic material ensures a smooth glide across the strings while maintaining a high level of control and durability during intense sessions.
The unique equilateral triangle design features three distinct playing points, each intended to wear at a different rate to provide subtle variations in attack and tone over the life of the pick. A central concave hole provides exceptional grip, preventing the pick from slipping or rotating during use. Because this product uses natural clear horn, each pick will feature unique variations in color and grain. This single 5.0mm pick offers a stiff, substantial feel for musicians who prefer a larger surface area and a heavy-duty construction for their primary instrument.
