Description
The Gotoh 510TS-BS1 is a premium 2-point tremolo from Gotoh's flagship 510 series, made in Japan, pairing a machined steel sustain block with brass block saddles—the "BS" combination that gives a fuller, warmer, richer voice than steel saddles. It's the same upgraded tremolo specified on many modern Charvel DK24, Ibanez AZ, and Suhr guitars.
The bridge plate is chromium-molybdenum steel with heat-treated knife edges that stay sharp and stable, and two signature features round it out: the FST tremolo block positions the string ball-ends so they don't bind against the plate on the way to the saddles—reducing wear and helping the trem return precisely to pitch—and the patented Stud Lock secures the pivot studs to their anchors for maximum sound transfer. Finished in gold with 10.8mm string spacing; tremolo arm, spring, spring holder, wrenches, and mounting screws included. Note: installation may require adjusting/redrilling post holes—check post location against your existing tremolo before fitting.
