Description:
Gruv Gear FretWraps are a professional-grade solution for musicians looking to eliminate unwanted string noise and sympathetic resonance. Whether you are recording in the studio, performing live, or practicing high-gain techniques, these dampeners help clean up your signal by suppressing overtones that can clutter your sound. The adjustable strap allows you to fine-tune the pressure against the strings to suit your playing style, making it an essential tool for technical tapping and fast legato passages.
Operation is simple and requires no modifications to your instrument. You can quickly slide the FretWrap over the strings to engage the dampening effect or move it behind the nut when you need the strings to ring fully open. This size Small model is specifically designed to fit standard 4-string electric basses and most 6-string electric or acoustic guitars. By controlling unwanted vibrations, FretWraps ensure that only the notes you intend to play come through with clarity and precision.
