Description:
The Gruv Gear FretWraps String Dampener in Tiger Small is a professional solution for cleaning up your sound when extra string noise interferes with your performance. Whether you are recording in the studio, tapping, playing with high gain, or working to tighten your technique, these dampeners help reduce the unwanted overtones and sympathetic ringing that can compromise your playing. Simply slide the wrap over the strings, adjust the pressure to your preference, and begin playing. When you require your strings to be fully open again, the FretWrap easily moves behind the nut without the need for tools or permanent modifications.
This small size is specifically designed to fit most 6-string guitars and 4-string basses. Studio players will appreciate how one small open-string ring can be eliminated to ensure clean takes during fast technical passages. By keeping extra vibrations under control, FretWraps allow the notes you actually want to hear to come through with maximum clarity. They are an essential accessory for practice, live performance, and critical recording sessions where precision is required.
