Description:
The GRUV Gear MTD FretWraps String Dampener is a professional-grade muting accessory specifically designed for MTD instruments. This officially licensed version provides the same effective dampening of sympathetic vibrations and overtones that players globally have grown to love. Reviewed and approved by Mike Tobias himself, these FretWraps help musicians achieve cleaner tones during tapping, slapping, and high-gain recording sessions by killing unwanted string noise.
This small size (SM) is tailored to fit 4-string MTD basses and MTD guitars, while also serving as a universal fit for most standard 6-string electric and acoustic guitars or 4-string basses. Each package contains one black FretWrap. Since 2013, these have become a standard included accessory with every American-made MTD bass shipped. The patented design is easy to use and does not require any special tools or guitar modifications to install on your instrument.
