The ESP Custom Lab Split Shaft Spacer 1mm helps stabilize screw‑type knobs on split‑shaft potentiometers. Without support, the knob screw can deform the shaft groove, leading to wobble, tilt, or uneven rotation.
Placing this 1mm PVC spacer in the groove allows the knob to be fixed firmly no matter how the split is aligned. It is a simple way to get accurate pointer positions and secure knobs in tight control layouts.
This thickness suits many potentiometers other than CTS and is recommended for ESP‑sold Bourns pots. You can mix spacer sizes for different pots.
Do not use with push‑in knobs, badly damaged grooves, or 0.7mm‑groove EQ/balancer pots.
