Description
The Gotoh RG105/RG130 is a set of two "butterfly" string retainers (string trees), made in Japan, for straight or flat Fender-style headstocks that need extra downward string angle over the nut. It pairs a short RG105 (2.5mm spacer) with a taller RG130 (5mm spacer) so you can set the right staggered break angle across the string pairs—improving tuning stability and reducing buzz behind the nut.
Each is the classic winged bent-steel design in plated steel, at 7.3mm string spacing, holding down two strings apiece. The set includes brass spacers and mounting screws. Choose your finish from the available color options. Note: for the barrel-style equivalent, see the RG15/RG30; drill a small pilot hole before installing the screws.
