Description:
The Gruv Gear FretWraps Bubby Lewis Signature Otaku String Dampener is a collaboration with the world-renowned bassist known for his work with Snoop Dogg, Jhene Aiko, and Dr. Dre. This signature accessory provides the same simple and effective muting capabilities that professional players worldwide rely on to kill sympathetic resonance and string noise. The unique Otaku aesthetic features a color-shifting iridescent chrome strap and a red label with katakana lettering, offering a bold visual statement on any headstock.
Designed specifically for smaller nut widths, this Small (SM) model fits most 4-string basses, 6-string electric and acoustic guitars, and ukuleles. It allows players to execute clean lines and advanced techniques without the interference of open string ringing. By sliding the dampener over the nut, you can instantly toggle between muted and open performance. Ensure you are using genuine Gruv Gear patented products for reliable tension and professional results during recording or live performances.
